Chicken Ingredients:

Chicken Boneless 1/2 Kg
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Oil 1/4 Cup
Green Chilli 5 to 10 (Chopped)
Coriander Powder 2 tbsp
Cumin Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper Powder 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1+1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Water 4 Cups

Daal Ingredients:

Wheat 1 Cup (Soaked for Overnight)
Split Green Gram with Skin 1 Cup (Soaked for 5 Hours)
Rice 1/2 Cup (Soaked for 5 Hours)
Water 1 Litre

Kabab Ingredients:

Chicken Mince 200gms
Oil 4 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1/4 tsp

Tarka Ingredients:

Ghee 1 Cup
Spinach 1/2 Cup (Boiled and Mashed)

Garnish Ingredients:

Green Coriander
Green Chilli (Chopped)
Garam Masala Powder
Lemon

Direction:

Step 1: (Chicken Preparation) Take a pot and add oil and preheat it and then add Ginger Garlic Paste and slightly fry it and then add Boneless chicken and stir it on medium flame for 3 minutes or until it's color changed. After that add Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Green Chilli and stir it well for 2 minutes on medium flame and then add 4 cups Water and stir it and cover it with lid and cook for 20 to 25 minutes on medium flame or until it's water dried. After that remove lid and turn off the flame and shredded it well.

Step 2: (Daal Preparation) Now take a pressure cooker/Patila and add Soaked Wheat, Split Green Gram with Skin, Rice and add Water 1 Litre and stir it and cover with lid and cook it for 30 minutes on medium to low flame on pressure cooker but if you are using patila then cook it for 2 hours on medium to low flame. After that turn off the flame and mashed it well.

Step 3: (Kabab Preparation) Now take a bowl and add Chicken Mince, Ginger Garlic Paste, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Garam Masala Powder and add some drops of oil and mix it well and then make small size kabab and shallow fry it with 4 tbsp oil.

Step 4: (Hareesa Preparation) Now take a large size pot and add Daal paste from step 2 and add shredded chicken from step 1 and mix it well and then add 2 glass water and stir it and cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame with stir.

Step 5: (Tarka Preparation) After that take a pan and add ghee and add Spinach paste and slightly fry it and put it into Hareesa pot and stir it well and cook it for 5 minutes on medium flame.

Step 6: (Garnish Preparation) After that Hareesa is ready now take a bowl and serve it and garnish it with Green Coriander, Green Chilli, Garam Masala Powder and lemon. Your Lahori Chicken Hareesa is Ready.
