Mushroom cake! The most amazing fantasy cake of them all! Hiya, how are you doing today? I love creating tiny miniature cakes but the part I love the least is creating the cake texture (with a tiny needle) to each piece of cake.. it takes so much time! However it's well worth it when you see the end result! Ok so here I am using Polymer Clay to create this miniature scale model cake. You can buy polymer clay from craft stores and yes you need to bake the clay for it to become hard (baking instructions can be found on the packaging of the clay you're using - there are different instructions for different brands of clay). I think I'm using a mix of FIMO soft and Sculpey Premo. It might not be recommended to mix clay types but hey-ho..has been working for me just fine :) Let me know if you have any questions!
