1½ pound --- pork belly (skin on)
3 Tbsp ------- each, peanut cooking oil & sugar
3 Tbsp ------- rice wine (for sizzle)
2 cups ------- water
3 oz. ---------- ginger (sliced) 4 thumb size.
5 pcs --------- dried red chili pepper
1 pc ----------- cinnamon bark
2 pcs --------- star anise
⅓ cup -------- light soy sauce
3 oz ----------- dried bean thread skin
2 stalks ----- green onion (2″ length)
NOTE: peanut oil has a high smoke point @ 450ºF
