AMAZING CRISPY BAKED WINGS! Not Fried
These truly crispy baked wings are super easy to make and it comes out crispy every time. They are ready to be sauced with your favorite hot wings sauce homemade or store bought. If you want to enjoy that crispy and juicy chicken more often without any guilts then this recipe is the way to go. Baking powder is the secret ingredient here, not mistaken with baking soda. When coated on the chicken it dries out the skin, leaving it crisp and crunchy. My husband thought it was deep fried. He devoured almost 2 pounds of wings in minutes. Lol
It’s so amazing. You must try it!

Recipe serves 2-3
2 Pounds chicken wings
3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp garlic powder
Non-stick cooking spray
You can also add spices like cayenne, paprika and onion powder.
Bake 450F/232C for 25-30 minutes then flip the wings. Bake another 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: The longer you bake the more crispy and dry it gets. I baked mine 25 minutes per side because I like it more juicy and tender. Some oven cooks faster than others so, just check on it frequently.

Here are the wing sauce recipes you can try. In my video I used the sweet sauce.

Sweet BBQ sauce:
3/4 Cup original BBQ sauce or plain BBQ sauce
¼ cup honey or 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 Tbsp ketchup
Salt to taste
Whisk ingredients together and ready to use. No need to heat if you are using honey.

Buffalo wing sauce:
3/4 Cup Frank's red hot sauce
4-6 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 Tsp garlic powder
1/4 Tsp paprika
salt to taste
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan cook on medium heat. When it comes to a simmer remove from heat and let cool slightly. Whisk before adding wings.
