INGREDIENTS:

for bhatura:

1.5 cup all purpose flour
¼ cup semolina
3 tbsp yogurt
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Luke warm water as needed
some oil
oil for frying

For Chhole masala:

½ tsp Black cumin
2 tsp cumin
2tsp pomegranate seeds
¼ tsp asafoetida
2 tsp dry Fenugreek leaves
2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
2tbsp garam masala
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp dry Fenugreek leaves


250 gm overnight soaked chickpeas
4 tbsp oil
2 bay leaves
¼ tsp cumin
small piece of cinnamon
1 onion paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp chhole masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
2 pinch turmeric powder
5 tomatoes puree
2 tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
350 ml water
2 tsp tea leaves
1 tsp dry mango powder
1-2 slit chillies
some fresh coriander
