GRILLED SHORT RIBS

These grilled short ribs are an inspiration of Korean barbecue marinated in a wonderful combination of ginger, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce and brown sugar.
It’s so juicy and flavorful. If you enjoy your food more spicy, add your favorite hot sauce before serving.
This recipe is very easy to make.

2 Lbs short ribs 907g-washed and drained well
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 Cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp minced ginger
1/2 Tsp black pepper
1/2 Tsp baking soda as a tenderizer
2 Tsp chicken bouillon-optional

Marinate at least 4 hours but best overnight. You can broil in the oven or grill outside if weather permits. The meat is pretty thin, over cooking will make it dry.
If you don’t add any tenderizer at all it does get chewy.
