Red chilli pickle - quick and easy recipeमम्मी के साथ बनाये चटपटा लाल मिर्ची का अचार और कुछ बातें
Ingredients :
Red Chilli (thick one): 250 gms
Methi seeds ( fenugreek seeds): 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds(rai): 2tbsp
Fennel seeds (saunf): 4 tbsp
Dry mango powder: 4 tbsp
Asafetida (hing): 1tsp
Salt: 3-4 tbsp
Mustard oil: 1/2 cup
Method:
Wash and dry red chillies. Take out the stem and slit them.
Heat pan at low heat , add methi, rai and saunf. Roast till aromatic.
Once spices are cold, grind them coarse.
Transfer ground masala in a bowl, add amchur powder, hing & salt.
Add 2-3 tbsp oil and mix.
Stuff chillies with masala and put them in a bowl.
Add 1 tbsp oil and mix gently.
Cover and keep in sunlight for 2-3 hours for 2-3 days.
Lalmirchi ka achaar (Red Chilli Pickle) is ready.
keep in glass bottle for longer life.
