Chinese Classic Fried Rice
For Chinese fried rice lovers. Here another fried rice cooking that you will like. No soy sauce, oyster sauce or Hoisin sauce added to maintain natural steamed white rice look. Enjoy. as needed cooking oil
2 pcs ----- eggs
5 oz. ----- shrimp shelled, de veined & slice into 3 pieces)
1 Tbsp --- each, ginger & garlic (minced) (for shrimp)
1/8 tsp --- salt for shrimp cooking
1 cup ----- shiitake mushrooms (fresh, diced)
3/4 cup --- carrots & peas
5 oz. ------ char siu (aka Chinese pork BBQ, diced)
6 cups --- steamed jasmine rice (day old)
1/2 tsp ---- salt (for seasoning)
1/4 tsp ---- white pepper (for seasoning)
2 stalks --- green onion (chopped)
Note: no soy sauce, for rice to preserved white natural color.
