Poon Choy Recipe That Everyone Should Try! | iCookAsia

Recipe:

Ingredients:
200g Sea cucumber
100g Abalone Slice
200g Prawn
100g Mushroom
100g Chinese Cabbage
100g Fish Maw
100g Broccoli
10g Shallot
10g Spring Onion
10g Garlic

Seasoning:
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
½ tsp Salt
½ tbsp Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method:
1. Boil Chinese cabbage and broccoli ,spare.
2. Next, add in Colavita oil to grill the prawn until cooked ,spare.
3. Then, add in Colavita oil. Saute shallot, spring onion, ginger and garlic with oyster sauce and soy sauce.
4. Add in 500ml of water, then add in mushroom and sea cucumber, cook it for 20 minutes.
5. After 20 minutes, add in fish maw and cook for 10 minutes.
6. After 10 minutes, only add in abalone slices and cook for 5 minutes. Then, take out all the 7. cooked ingredients and put it nicely onto a clay pot.
8. Now, mix 100g water with corn flour, then add in the sauce and cook until thick.
9. Lastly, pour the thicken sauce onto the ingredients inside and clay pot. Best tasting Poon Choy is done!
