INGREDIENTS
for Chhole
300g Chickpeas
1 big onion (100g)
2-3 tomatoes (200-250g)
¼ cup oil
½ tsp cumin seeds
small piece of cinnamon
2 cloves
2 green cardamoms
1 black cardamom
2 bay leaves
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander powder
2 pinches turmeric powder
2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp Salt
700ml water
¼ tsp dry mango powder
¼ tsp garam masala
¼ tsp dry Fenugreek leaves
for Rice
600ml Water
2 cloves
2 green cardamoms
300g soaked basmati rice
½ tsp Salt
2 tbsp Oil
