Thundering Ocean Waves were so Loud, I Thought I was in a Boat!
There's something therapeutic about sleeping close to the sea, the sound of crashing waves, but I never expected this! Watch this travel vlog!
We stayed at this Epic size villa called Bayu Gita. It's located in a quieter part of Bali called Ketewel, which is located on the South East coast of Bali. A beautiful location where you'll find less tourists. It's still close enough to drive to beautiful attractions as we did.
We travelled to see the iconic rice fields called Tegallalang Rice Terrace in Ubud. Quite a unique place which is well worth a visit. We also visited the holy spring water temple called Pura Tirta Empul. It's well worth going through the cleansing ceremony, but be prepared to get wet. You'll need a sarong and special water proof one, if entering the pools. All is provided for at the temple, including lockers and changing rooms.
Back at the villa, our Chef Budi cooked us amazing local meals including a mixed BBQ that was amazing overlooking the sea. If booking a villa in a group, and you love the sound of crashing waves, then this six bedroom villa is perfect.
