I pound pork lean strips (from pork belly)
12 oz. ground pork
5 oz. pork fat strips (from pork belly)
1 tsp. white sugar
2 tsp. five spice powder
½ tsp. white pepper
3 Tbs. light soy sauce
2 Tbs. sesame oil
⅓ cup corn starch
**skin paste**
¼ cup water
2 Tbs. corn strach
2 Tbs. cooking oil (for stir-fry)
2 Tbs. ginger, minced
2 Tbs. garlic, minced
½ cup green onions, chopped
1 cup carrots, julienned into thin strips
1 cup jicama, julienned into thin strips
6 sheets beancurd skin (soft type)
cooking oil as needed for frying
1 cucumber, sliced (for garnishing)
⅓ cup sweet plum sauce for dipping
NOTE: After mixing meat & veggies, divide them into 6 portions.
