Introducing Japanese traditional candy "Wagashi" souvenir, the name of this candy is "Hanabira-mochi". this candy is seasonal sweets (only available during the New Year season) that is mainly sold at Wagashi shops in Kyoto.

this time, i bought these cadies at Wagashi shop Tsuruya Yoshinobu in Kyoto/ Japan.

this candy consists of very soft mochi and white miso flavored white sweet bean paste "shiroan", red yokan jelly, and boiled sweet burdock root.
