water as needed for cleaning, blanching, and soup making
5 slices ginger
3 stalks green onion
⅓ cup rice wine
2 tsp. salt
10 oz. daikon, diced

1 cinnamon bark
3 bay leaves
10 white cardamon
½ tsp. Szechuan whole peppercorn
½ tsp. whole white peppercorn
