Chicken Satay / Grilled Chicken Recipe
Ingredients

- 250 grams Boneless Chicken Breast
- 1 small diced Onion
- 2 tbsp Yogurt
- 2 tsp Lemon Grass
- 5 Garlic Cloves
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp light Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- Cooking Oil
- Bamboo skewers soaked in water for 1 hour

Preparation method :

— Cut the chicken breast into small cubes
— In a blender add diced onion, lemon grass, garlic cloves, yogurt, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt, soy sauce, sugar and little oil, blend this in a food processor (note: add little water if required)
— Add ground paste and marinate the chicken pieces for about 8 hours or over night
— Soak Bamboo skewer in water for 1 hour
— Thread the chicken pieces onto the bamboo skewer
— Brush oil in a griddle pan and then on low-medium flame grill each side of chicken for about 3 min
— Brush oil while grilling as shown to avoid meat getting hard
— Serve hot Chicken Satay with any sauce or along with veggies
