Recently McDonald's updated its menu and introduced Belgian Waffles in the breakfast menu. I believe there isn't a single person in this universe who doesn't like Waffles. To be very honest, I can eat waffles for breakfast, lunch & dinner as well :D :D I know sounds crazy but I love waffles. A best waffle is the one which is crispy from outside & chewy from inside.
I always had waffles which were made of eggs but since many people requested the eggless version and even McDonald's serves eggless I though why not give it a try.
And trust me guys, If you make it once then I will guarantee you that you will follow the same recipe and make it number of times. Its so good that I don't want to eat waffles that are soggy or boring.
There are 2 ways of making belgian waffles, traditionally it is believed to be made with yeast and eggs but for our vegan viewers here is the yummylicious recipe of Belgian Waffles.

- Set it aside for 5 min
( You will see that it has a buttermilk texture)

- All purpose flour (1 Cup)
- Baking soda (1/2 Tsp)
- Baking Powder (1 Tsp)
- Castor Sugar (1/2 Cup)
( You can use normal sugar, pulsed in grinder to make a coarse mixture with is still in the crystal form )
- Pinch of salt
- Mix it well
- Add the milk mixture
- Oil (1/4 Cup)
- Use cut & fold method to mix evenly
( Do not mix it vigorously or for too long, if you do so the waffles will become flat and won't turn fluffy )
- Pre-heat the waffle iron & brush oil/ butter
- Pour the batter in the center & let it spread
- Try to put the batter evenly
- Eveness will ensure the crispiness of the waffles
- Do not flatten more with the spatula, it will spread automatically
- Heat it according to the manufacture's instruction
- NOTE : Do not peep in between or the waffles wont be crispy
- The safe way to see if the waffles are done is to check the steam coming out, when the steam stops you can switch the waffle iron off.
- Sprinkle some icing sugar on the waffle.
- Place a scoop of ice cream of your choice ( I have used Vanilla Ice cream)
- Drizzle hot fudge topping on it
( RECIPE :

- Condensed Milk (1/4 Cup)
- Milk (1/4 Cup)
- Cocoa Powder (3 Tbsp)
- Brown Sugar (1/4 Cup)
- Coconut Oil (1 Tsp) ( Substitue : Butter 1 tbsp)
- Mix it
- Stir continuously on lowest flame
- Do not quit stirring as it burns very easily
- Bring to boil
- Flame off
- Chopped Dark Chocolate (1/3 cup)
- Stir until melted evenly )

- Put some chopped up strawberries on it
- Here you can put whipped cream or strawberry sauce or chocolate sauce or fruits like bananas, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries. The decoration part is limitless.

- I hope you will try this recipe very soon and I'm sure the love for the waffles will surely increase.
