Ingrediens for Deep Fried Kobe Beef Sushi Roll:

Sushi Rice (cooked according to packaging)
Nori leaves
Pickled / cooked green asparagus
Caviar
Kobe Beef Steak

For the tempura dough:
1 cup of flour
1 cup of ice cold water
1 egg

+ Panko bread crumbs

Preparation:

Place the nori leave on a sushi mat as shown in the video an cover 3/4 with a thin layer of sushi rice. Preheat your grill for very very high heat and sear the steak for max 45 seconds from each side. Flip around the nori leave, cut the grilled steak into stripes and place together with the asparagus at the end where no rice is underneath.

Add some caviar and roll up the inside out maki roll. Then add the flour into a bow, add a whole egg and stir in the ice cold water until the tempura batter is silky and smooth.

Place the sushi rolls into the tempura and cover completely with the batter. Then place them into the panko breadcrumbs and coat completely.

To finish the the sushi rolls, deep fry them until golden brown and crispy. Serve with some spicy mayo and enjoy!
