Eggless yet tasty Crepes with nutella & strawberry |Japanese streetfood|No Oven dessert|Yummylicious
Crepes are typically made with egg but for vegetarians making it eggless makes it as tasty as traditional french crepes.
The process can be intimidating at the beginning but in no time you will get use to it and will easily make soft and best crepes ever.
This is one of the best dessert as it can be customized the way you like. Commonly crepe involves some cream, fruits and sauce & ice creams are optional. But I think ice cream gives it more like dessert look and sauce enhances the flavor so I have taken best of the combination of any sundae and made a crepe.
So let's get started with this easy peasy recipe.

( This recipe makes 5 medium sized crepes)

Ingredients :

( You can do this in a bowl as well )
In a blender -
- All Purpose Flour (1/2 Cup)
- Powdered Sugar (2 Tbsp)
( I like to keep the sugar content low in crepes as everything sweet makes it a lot sweeter than expected )
- A pinch of salt
- Milk (1/4 Cup)
- Water (1/3 Cup)
- Melted Butter (2 Tbsp)
- Oil (1 Tbsp)
- Vanilla Extract (1/4 Tsp)
- Blend it well ( You can use whisk/ electric beater )
- Strain the batter to remove lumps
( This is one of the important step as it eliminates tiny tiny bits of flour )
- Use a non stick pan
- Rub some butter on the pan
- Do not forget to wipe it clean with tissue ( otherwise it will create unevenness in the crepe )
- Depending on the size of the pan you will need to figure out how much batter you need for 1 crepe.
- I needed a bit less than 1/4 cup batter
- Pour the batter while swirling the pan
- Flip it once it starts to leave the sides
- Flip it carefully, at first it would feel a bit intimidating but it will be great after making the first one.
- Take 1 crepe
- Pipe some whipped cream
- Put sliced strawberries
( You can use any fruits or anything you like as toppings)
- Drizzle some nutella
- Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream
- Fold the bottom part in half
- Fold the sides to form a cone
- Put some more sliced strawberries/ blueberries
- Drizzle some chocolate syrup on it

- Serve this easy dessert with loads of love....
