Huge Triple Layer Veg Melting Cheese Sandwich - Street Food| Melting Cheese Paneer Makhani Sandwich
Sandwiches are my favorite. This is an ultimate cheese loaded sandwich with paneer and makhani flavors which totally burst in the mouth creating a desi version of this ultimate veggie sandwich.
Indian Street food's most popular dish is sandwich and melting cheese sandwich is one of them so thought of making this sandwich with yummylicious twist. This is certainly an easy sandwich recipe. You can make these things before hand and assemble when your guests come over.

I have divided this video in 3 layers so that it is easy to follow. So lets get started with the ingredient list and procedure :

Layer 1 : Veggies in Mayo

You can use any veggies that you like, these are what I like the most in my sandwich

- Mayonnaise (1/4 Cup)

- Italian Seasoning (1/2 tsp)
( Recipe :
Basil (1 Tsp)
- Oregano (1 Tsp)
- Sage (1/4 Tsp)
- Marjoram (1/4 Tsp)
- Paprika (1/4 Tsp)
- Garlic Powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Black pepper (1/4 Tsp)
- Crushed red pepper ( kutilal ) (1/4 Tsp)
- Put the spices in mortar pestle
- Salt to taste
- Oil (1/2 Tsp)
- Grind it to mix it very well.)

- Oregano (1/4 Tsp)
- Season with salt and pepper
- Mix it well
- Cabbage (1/3 Cup)
- Capsicum (1/4 Cup)
- Boiled Corn (2 Tbsp)
- Paneer / cottage cheese (3/4 Cup)
- Grated Cheese (1/4 Cup)
- Mix
- Coriander (2 Tbsp)
- Mint (1 Tsp)
- Mix it well and set it aside

Layer 2 : Makhani

- Oil (1/2 Tbsp)
- Butter (1 Tbsp)
- Finely Chopped Onions (1/2 Cup)
- Garlic Paste (1/2 Tbsp)
- Ginger Paste (1/2 Tbsp)
- Saute until onions are translucent
- Finely Chopped Tomatoes (1/2 Cup)
- Saute for 2 - 3 min
- Cinnamon powder (1/8 Tsp)
- Cumin Powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Coriander Powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Red Chilli powder (1/2 - 1 Tsp according to your taste)
- Turmeric powder (1/8 Tsp)
- Garam Masala (1/2 Tsp)
- Sugar (1 Tsp)
( Sugar to balance the tartness of tomatoes and enhance its flavor )
- Salt and pepper
- Saute it for 2 - 3 min
- Water (2 Tbsp)
- Simmer for 5 min
- Saute for another 2 - 3 min
- Kasuri methi
- Cream (1 tbsp)
- Set it aside

Layer 3 : Flourless Cheese Sauce

- Milk (2 Tbsp)
- Processed Cheese ( 20 grams )
- This quantity is ideal for 2 sandwiches so you can increase or decrease accordingly
- Microwave for 30 sec to 1 min
- Stir to mix it well

Step 4 : Assembling the sandwich

- Butter a side of a bread slice
- Put 1/4 cup of veggies
- Spread it evenly
- Another slice of bread
- Butter the top
- Add Makhani gravy (2 Tbsp)
- Spread it evenly
- Paneer Cubes ( as many as you like )
- Grated Cheese (1/4 Cup)
- I have used cheddar cheese as that is what is more often used by sandwich vendors but you can use any cheese of your choice, mozzarella works very well too

- Put another slice of bread
- Apply 2 Tbsp Cheese sauce
- Cut it diagonally
- Cutting at this stage makes it lot easier later
- Sprinkle Oregano and Cayenne Pepper
- Cheese (1/3 Cup)
- Bake at 180 C for 7 - 10 min
- You can make it in tawa by covering it up and with lowest flame until cheese melts
- Serve this cheesy sandwich immediately
