6 Mind-Blowing Recipes using Leftover Roti| Roti Pizza| Taco| Nachos| Samosa| Flautas|Leftover Hacks
Roti is like staple food of india. Since we make rotis on regular basis there are various days of week where we have loads of leftover rotis. We always are in question about what to do so that everyone will eat it. But have you ever wondered how many recipes could be made which be like makeover of leftover.
So lets see the recipes :

1. Roti Nachos

Refried Beans ( Used also in tacos )

- Oil (1 Tbsp)
- Butter (1 Tbsp)
- Garlic Paste (1 Tbsp)
- Onions (1/2 cup)
- Saute until onions are translucent
- Tomato puree (1 Cup)
- Jalapenos (1 Tbsp)
- Cumin powder (1 Tsp)
- Red Chilli powder (1 Tsp)
- Salt & pepper
- Tomato (2 Tbsp)
- Boiled black beans (1/2 cup)
- Boiled Kidney beans (1 Cup)
- Mash it lightly
- Cook until reduced

- Cut 4 - 5 rotis in 8 pieces
- Melted unsalted butter (3 Tbsp)
( if you are using salted butter do not add salt )
- Garlic powder (1/2 tsp)
- Chilli powder (1/2 Tsp)
( you can use fresh garlic )
- pepper and salt
- Fresh thyme ( any herb of your choice )
- Dried Oregano (1/2 tsp)
- Parmesan Cheese (2 Tbsp)
- Mix
- Put roti pieces in the bowl and coat it
- Arrange the rotis on parchment not overlapping each other
- Pre-heat oven at 180C and bake for 8 - 10 min
- If you want to fry, do not mix in butter you can use dry mix after deep frying.
- Assembling :
- Put half of the nachos in the baking safe dish
- Mozzarella Cheese (1/3 Cup)
- Cheddar Cheese (1/3 Cup)
- Tomatoes
- Mixed bell peppers
- Sliced Onions
- Refried beans
- Fresh coriander
- Another bath of nachos
- Mozzarella Cheese (1/3 Cup)
- Cheddar Cheese (1/3 Cup)
- Tomatoes
- Mixed bell peppers
- Sliced Onions
- Fresh coriander
- Bake at 180C for 8 to 10 min

Roti Tacos
- Place roti in a microwave safe mug
- Microwave for 1 min
- It will become hard shelled taco
- Put refried beans at the base
- Hot sauce
- Shredded Lettuce
- Sliced Onions
- Tomatoes
- Sour cream
- Fresh coriander
- Grated Cheddar cheese
- Serve immediately

Roti Samosa :
Filling :
- Cumin seeds (1/4 Tsp)
- Fennel Seeds (sauf)(1/4 Tsp)
- Ajwain ( carrom seeds) (1/8 Tsp)
- Asafoetida (1/8 Tsp)
- Ginger garlic paste (1 Tbsp)
- Boiled & mashed potatoes (1 cup)
- Cumin powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Red chilli powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Garam masala (1/2 Tsp)
- Coriander Powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Amchur powder (1/2 Tsp)
- Green Chillies (1/2 Tsp)
- Boiled Green peas (1/2 Cup)

- Salt to taste
- Fresh Coriander (1/4 Cup)
- Fry until everything is mixed well
- Cut a roti in half
- Seal the pocket using flour paste ( wheat flour or maida )
- Fold over sides and seal it
- In a cone formed, put filling
- Seal it
- Deep fry on medium low flame
- Or bake at 180C for 12 - 15 min
- Serve it with imli sauce and red chutney

Roti Pizza :
- Put Pizza Sauce (2 Tbsp)
- Mozzarella Cheese (2/3 Cup)
- Sprinkle Oregano and Chilli Flakes
- Toppings of your choice
- I have added :
Mixed bell peppers
Baby corns
Jalapeno
-But butter on pan
- Cover and cook on low flame
- Cook until cheese melts and roti becomes crispy
- Serve hot

Potato Flautas
- Boiled Mashed Potatoes (2/3 Cp)
- White pepper(1/8 Tsp)
(You can use black pepper)
- Fresh Thyme (1/8 Tsp)
(any of your fav herb)
- Salt
- Oregano (1/4 Tsp)
- Garlic Powder (1/4 Tsp)
Put garlic paste if powder not available
- Mix
- Mozzarella cheese (1/3 Cup)
- Cheddar cheese (1/3 cup)
- Milk (2 Tbsp)
- Put potato mix at 1 side of the roti
- Roll it tightly
- Secure it with a toothpick
- Deep fry in medium low flame
- Fry until crispy
- Garnish it with mexicana creama
( 2 Tbsp whipping cream + 2 Tbsp Sour Cream)
- Shredded lettuce
- Cherry tomatoes/ diced tomatoes
- Serve immediately

Veggie Balls
- Grind 2 rotis
- Mashed potato (1/3 cup)
- Grate ginger
- Green Peas (1/4 Cup)
- Diced Carrots ( 1/4 Cup)
- Chopped Sweet corn (1/4 Cup)
- Fresh Coriander (2 Tbsp)
- Garam Masala (1/2 Tsp)
- Cumin powder (1 Tsp)
- Salt and pepper
- Chilli pepper (1/2 Tsp)
- Cheese (1/3 Cup)
- Make balls with 2 tbsp mixture
- Coat the balls with flour
- Dip in flour and water slurry
- Coat with breadcrumbs
- Deep fry the balls until golden brown
- Serve it with hot sauce
