Recipe-
soaked white basmati rice(bheege hue basmati chawal) 1/2 kg
chicken(murga) 1 kg

for kabsa powder-
coriander powder(dhania powder) 2 tbsp
cumin powder(zeera) 1 tsp
white peppercorns(dakhni mirch) 15-16
star anise(chakraphool) 2
cloves(long)7-8
cinnamon stick(daalchini)6-7
green cardamom(hari elaichi) 6-7
nutmeg(jaefal) 1/2 piece
mace(javitri) 1/2 piece

black peppercorns(kali mirch)1/4 tsp
cloves(long) 5
green cardamom(hari elaichi) 6
black cardamom(badi elaichi) 1
bay leaves(tezpat) 3-4
grated tomatoes(kaddukas kiye hue tamatar) 4
chopped onion(kati hui pyaz) 2
ghee/oil 100gm
lemon zest(nimbu ka chhilka) of 2 lemons
water(pani) 1300ml
salt(namak) 1 and 1/2 tsp
cashew(kaju) 1 fist
raisins(kishmish) 1 fist
fried onion(tali hui pyaz) 1 small
