How to make Japanese Traditional Candy Wagashi Water Ripples Jelly Kingyokukan Salty Sweet flavor
i made Japanese traditioanl candy wagashi sweet clear agar jelly called "Kingyokukan" decorated wit water ripples;) making ripples with a searing-iron on Kingyokukan is one of Japanese traditional technique.
normal flavor of Kingyokukan has no flavor,Kingyokukan means just sweet agar jelly.we sometimes add flavors,colors,and sometimes,make kohakuto adding more sugar for crystallize them.
this time, i didn't add flavor and color,but dipped in salt,so,they have salty sweet flavor,it's good for hot summer days,isn't it?

7.5g thread agar
300ml water
380g coarse sugar
35g starch syrup
