EASY PEPPER STEAK RECIPE
This pepper steak is made with beef and sautéed bell peppers in a savory sauce. It is a quick, easy and delicious stir fry. Served over steamed rice.

Recipe serves 2

For steak
1/2 Lb beef 227g such as sirloin, flank or round steak-thin sliced
1 Tbsp cooking wine or water
1/2 Tsp black pepper
1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tsp corn starch
1/4 Tsp baking soda as a tenderizer
Mix ingredients together well and let marinate at least 20 minutes.

For sauce
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tsp sugar
1 Tsp corn starch
1/2 Tsp black pepper
3 Tbsp water
Stir until no lumps.

Other add-ins
1 Tbsp oil
1 Small red bell pepper-cut into chunks
1 Small green bell pepper-cut into chunks
3 Cloves garlic-chopped
You can use 2 cups of other vegetables if you don’t like bell peppers.
