Salmon Teriyaki, a delicious dinner with an easy to make teriyaki sauce 照烧三文鱼
Salmon Teriyaki is one of my favorite Japanese dishes and easy to make at home. The sauce can be stored in a refrigerator for days. If you don't have Mirin, Japanese rice wine, you may substitute with dry cherry, dry white wine or rice vinegar. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 salmon filet
1 small carrot, slices
handful broccoli florets
For the sauce:
1/2 cup water
1 and 1/2 tbsp honey (or sugar)
3 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tsp Mirin
1/3 tsp starch or flour with 1 tbsp water for the slurry
