Rainbow Crepe Cake |No Oven Easy Rainbow 18 layered Crêpe Cake | Yummylicious
I always loved crepe cake but rainbow crepe cake is not only ultimately tasty but very much eye pleasing.
The best thing about this cake is that its not overly sweet, but very many layers makes it extra ordinary.
There are 3 steps :
Step 1 : Batter
Step 2 : Making Crepes
Steps 3 : Whipping Cream & Assembly
Following are the list of ingredients :
Step 1: Batter
Wet ingredients:
- Melted Butter (1/3 Cup)
- Eggs ( 2 large )
- Whisk until it becomes pale
- Caster Sugar (1/4 Cup)
- Whisk very well until well combined
- Warm Milk ( 500 ml )
- Mix the egg mixture in milk.
( Milk should be warm not hot, hot milk will cook the eggs which is undesirable )
Dry ingredients :
- Sift All Purpose Flour (2 & 1/4 Cups)
( If you are using unsalted butter you can add pinch of salt )
- Gradually mix milk in the flour
- If you wish, you can blend everything in blender for ease.
- Divide in 6 portions to color it
- Color the batter with Violet, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red
- Place the pan on low flame.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter & twirl around to spread.
- When the top is dry, flip it over.
- Make 3 crepes of each color
- Cut all the crepes with a circular cutter
- If you wish you can certainly skip this step, I like a plain surfaced side of the cake.
Step 3 :
(If you want to see the detailed recipe, please click here : https://youtu.be/Wc5PQsn_oQ0 )
- Whipping Cream ( 2 cups )
- Whip at slow speed until soft peaks are formed.
- Icing Sugar (1/3 Cup)
- Whip it until stiff peaks are formed.
Assemble :
- On a cake board place 3 parchment papers
( Easy clean up & icing doesn't stick the board )
- Stack crepes according to rainbow colors.
- Stack crepes and cream alternatively.
- After the last crepe, cover the cake with whipped cream.
- Pull the parchment paper carefully
- Rainbow crepe cake is ready to be served.
- Now to reveal awesomeness, slice it.
Thank you for all your love and motivation. I really appreciate everything.
