French Fries - Creamy, Juicy and Tasty
Ingredients
- 2 Long Non Starchy Potatoes
- Salt to Taste
- Oil to Deep Fry
Preparation Method :
— Non starchy potatoes are suitable for french fires
— How to identify non starchy potatoes : Non starchy potatoes skin peels of easily, wherein in starchy potatoes skin is firm and difficult to peel off
— Take long potatoes, wash thoroughly and then peel
— After peeling first cut them into slices and then into lengthwise
— Take a deep bottom pan, add water, then add salt
— Blanch potatoes in water, drop potatoes into boiling water
— Cover and cook until 3/4 done which takes 3 minutes
— Strain them immediately
— Pat them dry
— Put them in zip lock bag, sealed up
— Leave it in freezer for 3-4 hours
— Keep oil for deep fry
— Fry it in very hot oil for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown
— Remove it on Paper Towel or kitchen towel
— Sprinkle salt on it and serve with hot with favourite sauce
