How to make a Balsamic Prime Rib Roast:

Preheat your grill - best only with wood fire (yes - charcoal works fine as well - yes also a gas grill - and yes, if you have a good electric grill with a lid it would work also…….. jaaaaaaaaaa also your stove and oven would work - not as cool but it would work)….

Rub your roast with olive oil from both sides and season with salt. Grill over direct heat - approx. 1 min per side over fire - 2-3 minutes on a normal grill.

After searing from both sides place onto indirect heat. Of course you have prepared the Balsamic Glaze before already (250 ml Balsamic vinegar - and 60 g honey). Then brush the the me.at with the glaze - every 15 min. until the desired core temp. of the roast is reached ( I went for 54°C / 129°F).

Leave to rest for 10 min and enjoy.
